I was raised in a musical family and have been singing all my life. My professional career started when I heard Irish traditional music and fell in love with it. I had about 15 years of a wonderful career, recording three albums and performing around the Northwest. Then I very serendipitously happened upon the music of Brazil, and, ready for a change, delved into the world of bossa nova. I found a treasure trove of great songs, recorded two albums, and enjoyed performing with Portland’s top jazz musicians. I occasionally drop into a music session and sing a song or two, but that’s it for performing these days.
